Summer 09
We have had a pretty uneventful summer thus far. Christopher came to visit and stayed for 6 days it was a good visit and I can't believe how much he has grown. Ron has started and almost completed a deck from our pool to the back porch, he is always busy with something around the house.

Staycation Week
This past week was the first week that Ron and I have taken the whole week off from work with no plans. It was GREAT, and I highly recommend this to everyone. The weather wasn't great at the beginning of the week but cleared up before the week was over. We went fishing on Lay Lake for a couple of days then went to Bald Rock. Believe it or not I had never been there. It was beautiful to say the least and we had a great time. Note to self: When asking the husband what to where DON'T LISTEN!!!!!!! I wore sandals that had a heal on them to a park. I have no clue what I was thinking but, my feet where telling me I needed to start thinking:)

Mardi Gras 09
Ron enjoyed his first trip to the "boom boom" this past week. We had a great hotel room with the balcony on the parade route. It was allot of fun and I really enjoyed getting to spend some time with the family.

An Island for Christmas
Santa was good to me this year, apparently I was a good girl. For Christmas I am getting a custom built island for the kitchen. This is defiantly going to be the kitchen of my dreams. Here are a few pictures of the progress that was made this weekend. Keep checking back for updates.
